Abstract

In this paper, we propose a hybrid method for recommending potential scientific publications for researcher based on combination of trust relationships and research trend of researchers. The research trend let us know which research topic recently is interested in by a researcher while trust relationship let us know experts whom a researcher trust. Experiments are conducted on a big dataset crawled from Microsoft Academic Search[1]. The experimental results show that our proposed methods are more effective than the existing methods in recommending potential publications those are met with research interest of researchers.
